Did you know that?

This autumnal color change is a true miracle of nature. In spring and summer, the leaves, largely nourished by the intense functioning of the plant, are full of chlorophyll which gives them this classic green color. When temperatures drop and the days get shorter, the plant's activity slows down, the leaves are no longer fed as much and the chlorophyll gradually gives way to the production of other pigments that color the leaves yellow or red.
